HiCarer, the intuitive tool to understand care needs, create a shared plan, manage tasks and build a support circle. Simplifying managing care and support for families.


HiCarer brings people together and create an effective support circle for a loved one. The simple yet comprehensive app enables families to manage the, often stressful, process of helping a relative when they need care and/or support. Whether it’s for a family member who’s getting older and needs more support, someone who’s had a recent operation or diagnosis, or for someone who has a disability, HiCarer will help put individuals and families in control.



For families you can


• Understand care needs – through simple questions break down all the elements that someone might need help with, automatically creating a downloadable Care Needs Assessment which can be used by family, friends and professionals. The Care Needs Assessment can be sent to your Local Authority to discuss care requirements or can be used with hospital discharge teams to help get your loved one home from hospital sooner.


• Keep a log of all medications so you have it to hand when you need it, and so reminders can be given when it’s time for the medicine to be taken.


• Create a support circle detailing all the people who can help or need to know that help is being provided. From putting out the bins, to doing the shopping, changing the beds through to personal care tasks – there are often people around who can provide a bit of help. Support Circle Contacts are people that you need to have contact details to hand, Support Circle Members are up to 6 trusted people who share the app with you to manage the tasks and schedules. You can include one paid carer as a Support Circle Member.


• Build a plan which meets the care and support needs identified, allocating tasks to people within the Support Circle, and identifying where there is no one to carry out a task.


• Receive notifications to let you know when someone has arrived/left scheduled visits.


• Keep a log of tasks completed, alongside information about the persons wellbeing.


• Access relevant articles about further support

HiCarer is available by subscription only. It will be available to download once a subscription has been purchased by the Support Circle Lead (HiCarer Subscriber). The Support Circle Lead can invite up to 5 more people to the Support Circle. If you are invited to join an existing Support Circle, then you will be able to use the app for free. Subscription Details:

• Length: 1 month initial term and monthly thereafter.

• Payment will be charged to the Users Account at confirmation of purchase

• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.

• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase
